Heb 6:1-3 Therefore let us leave the initial doctrine of Christ, and let us move on to maturity; let us not lay the foundation againy with repentance from dead works and it of faith in God, it the doctrine of baptisms, the laying on of hands, the the resurrection of the dead and the eternal judgment. And we will do that if speech, God willing.
- Perhaps surprisingly, according to the writer of the letter to the Hebrews, the doctrine of laying on of hands is one of the very foundations of Christian knowledge and faith.

1Tn 5,22 Nevzkládej na nikoho ukvapeně ruce. Neměj účast na cizích hříších. Uchovávej se čistý.)
- Není to bez rizik, je možno to dělat ukvapeně.
- Mohou se tak přenést hříchy.
Shrnuto je v(z)kládání rukou spojeno s těmito oblastmi (Podle https://www.obohu.cz/bible/):
- Blessing
- Jákob žehná svým dvěma vnukům, Efrajimovi a Manasesovi.
- Oběti a zasvěcení
- Předávání Ducha svatého a různých obdarování
- Vzkládáním rukou je možné předávat Božího ducha nebo jiné konkrétní Boží obdarování (zmocnění) (Mojžíš a Jozue)
- Křest Duchem svatým.
- Uzdravování
- uzdravování nemocných Pánem Ježíšem, apoštoly, sedmdesáti a posléze všemi věřícími
Na závěr: Je velmi pravděpodobné, že skrze vzkládání rukou lze předat i negativní věci, např. démona.
Platí pravidlo: „Nenechte na sebe neuváženě vkládat ruce někoho, kdo není dobrý křesťan, koho skutečně dobře neznáte a komu plně nedůvěřujete!“
