- The disciples (and people in general) before Jesus kneeling rather rarely. Jesus himself prayed kneeling in Gethsemane.

- Adoration bowing is a much more common concept in the Bible than kneeling - often, or perhaps usually, bowing can be associated with kneeling, even though one can bow without kneeling.
